Cintueng started with a simple question from our family in Nakhon Sawan: how do you make packaged noodles cook up springy and soft, like freshly made noodles? The answer we chose: air-dry them, don't fry them.
Why air-dried, not fried
Most instant noodles are dried by frying, which makes them go rancid faster and leaves a texture that's nothing like fresh noodles.
So we chose hot-air drying instead. It takes longer and costs more, but after 2 minutes of boiling the noodles spring back straight and bouncy, like noodles made fresh that morning. That's the one reason Cintueng exists.
We still boil and taste every batch before it goes out. If a batch doesn't pass, it doesn't ship. And if your noodles aren't right, just message us.
